Home Bound Healthcare, Inc. is a Home Health Agency that was incorporated in September 2004. Our two owners are both Registered Nurses who have a combined nursing experience of over 30 years. They have worked in hospital settings as well as the long term care industry prior to opening their own Home Health Agency. Our Agency has grown since its inception to over 100 full-time and part-time employees, who service our patients' needs throughout the states of Illinois and Iowa.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality of multidisciplinary in-home, health care services. These services are to be provided by competent and ethical staff members who strive to maintain patients' rights, well being and increase quality of life essential to the improvement of their total physical, emotional, and mental condition, while promoting dignity and an independent lifestyle.

Our Agency received its license from the State (IDPH) in February, 2005. We received our Medicare Provider ID Number, effective August 9, 2005. We have had the pleasure to manage over 3,500 patient cases since our licensure was granted. Our patients have overwhelmingly been pleased with the care we provide.

Our skilled services include: Skilled Nursing (RN, LPN) Therapies, including: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Respiratory Therapy, Home Health Aide Services, and Medical Social Work. We employ a full staff of Nurses, Therapists, and Social Workers in-house, and contracted therapy services in various locations throughout our eight county service area to ensure availability.

Not only are we committed to a high quality of clinical care, we are as equally committed to the overall integrity of our business. To this end, Home Bound Healthcare has gone through the process to become a member of the Better Business Bureau and holds a certificate of accreditation from the Home Caregivers Accreditation of America.

We are also certified through the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP is an independent non-profit national accrediting body. CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and community-based healthcare.

Home Bound Healthcare is also affiliated with the National Private Duty Association (NPDA), in an effort to offer the highest standards of practice to our clients. This association avails us the opportunity to provide our staff continuing education training with a focus on ethics, and providing gentle, compassionate services including non-medical home care services such as companion care, elder care, and in-home assisted living services.

We accept payment from Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance companies, as applicable. Our non-skilled private pay services include Homemaker, Companion, and Caregiver services. All of our private pay patients will enjoy the convenience of credit card payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
